CTG is seeking a Logistics Clerk to work at their clients site in Research Triangle Park, NC 27709. This is a 12 Month contract position that has the potential to extend longer.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide freight payment support to our transportation and logistics teams; this role ensures the timely and accurate approval and payment of freight invoices from carriers.
Major Contributing Activities:
Manage the following Freight Payment processes:
SAP interaction between BCS and third party freight payer (manage idoc errors and mitigate EDI transmission errors).
Audit exception freight bills and resolve any discrepancies.
Manage the Match Fail process where our freight payer cannot match a freight invoice to a delivery in SAP.
Create manual entries (Supplemental) in SAP, while adhering to Cost Center guidelines.
Monitor carrier aging to ensure payments are made within agreed upon terms.
Provide feedback to Transportation team and third party freight payer on any freight payment issues or delay in carrier payment.

This position is compensated at $25.00 per hour on a W-2 hourly basis (no C2C or 1099's).
